Tori's Take on Nutrition
We asked Registered Dietitian Tori to share her take on nutrition with us.
Not only is Tori an RD, she’s also a Registered Nurse, former college soccer player, and mom to two little ones. So yeah, she keeps it busy. We instantly clicked with Tori because she has a realtistic, balanced approach to nutrition (plus she’s really funny). Here’s her philosophy in a nutshell:
If I could sum it up, I would say, “eat real food, and live your life.”
I want to make food work for me, not the other way around. I aim to eat whole foods, to fuel my active lifestyle of HIIT workouts, playing with my kids, and the occasional soccer match.
I’m not much of a cook, so I keep it simple by stocking my fridge with a variety of vegetables, fruit, and lean protein to throw together simple meals.
My goal with ah.mi is to help foster good nutrition habits that eventually turn into a way of life, where food and fitness isn’t the focus, but merely a part of life.
ah.mi is all about that balance: making good choices more often than not, and saying “cheers” to living that good life.
