Morgan
Morgan is an LA-based gal, and a new mom to the cutest lil’ guy. She’s totally got that effortless California-cool thing going on, and a glowing complexion to boot. We asked Morgan to give us the dish on what she eats and drinks on the daily. Note to self: drink more water and make her oat cookies.
Do you have any restrictions on what you eat?
I eat a mostly plant-based diet, having eggs and fish occasionally. I don't eat any dairy or refined sugar, as I have just found that my body functions better when I eliminate those things.
I am a huge water drinker--at least 3 liters a day. Without that much, I feel like my skin gets dry and I get headaches. I have coffee in the morning. I have the occasional glass of wine, but find that even half a glass leaves me feeling groggy when I wake up, so I tend to avoid it.
What is your go-to healthy lunch?
I love warm foods, so I usually make a giant bowl with brown rice, veggies, and avocado. Sometimes I will add a poached egg if I feel I need a little extra protein that day.

What do you normally snack on throughout the day?
I make these yummy oat cookies that are great on the go. Being a mom, I have to go for what is convenient and quick, so I always have these, a banana, or some granola with me.
What time do you eat dinner?
Typically after my son goes to sleep, so around 7:30 p.m.. I find that to get a great night's sleep, I need a full stomach, so I can't have dinner too early.
How often do you eat out or do delivery?
Delivery probably once a week--typically sushi--and we eat out once or twice a week for dinner and lunch.
When you eat out, are there any staples you always order?
I love pasta, especially if it is homemade. If there is a yummy pasta dish on the menu that has lots of veggies, even better. I will order that without any cheese.
What’s your Starbucks/coffee shop order?
Black coffee, maybe a splash of almond milk.
Cocktails, wine, or neither? What’s your drink of choice?
Red wine if I decide to have a drink. If I'm on vacation somewhere tropical, of course I will have a margarita!

I really like all of Gwyneth Paltrow's cookbooks, and Melissa Wood's Instagram for easy, delicious, plant-based meal ideas.
