ah.mi's Black Bean Burger
Makes 4 servings
To Get:
1 can black beans
1/4 cup chopped white or yellow onion
1/4 cup chopped red bell pepper
1/4 cup chopped tomato
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1/4 cup panko
1 Tbsp ketchup
1 Tbsp worcestershire
1 egg
Salt & pepper
To Do:
Drain and rinse black beans
Preheat oven to 375 and bake black beans on a sheet pan for about 15 minutes (to dry out)
Add chopped veggies to a food processor for a few pulses and set aside in a bowl
Let beans cool and add to food processor for a few pulses (leave a little chunky)
Add beans to the bowl with the veggies along with the seasonings, panko, ketchup, worcestershire, and eggs
Mash together with hands
Form into 4 patties and place on a greased pan
Bake at 375 for 10 minutes on each side

Let burgers cool for about 10 minutes to keep from breaking apart
Serve over a bed of greens or wrapped in lettuce
Optional: add a bun and any toppings you wish
