Don't Poke the Bear

Makes 6 servings

 
 

To Get:

  • 1 lb cubed blue fin or yellow fin tuna

  • 1 diced jalapeno (seeded)

  • 1/2 diced cucumber

  • 1 bunch of diced green onion

  • 1/4 diced red onion

  • 1 cubed avocado

  • 2 Tbsp sesame oil

  • 3 Tbsp low sodium soy sauce

  • 1 Tbsp sesame seeds

To Do: 

  1. Add fish to a large bowl

  2. Combine jalapenos, cucumbers, green onion, red onion, and avocado to bowl

  3. Add sesame oil, soy sauce, and sesame seeds

  4. Toss all ingredients together

  5. Refrigerate for 2 hours and serve over a bed of greens

  • Keep the jalapeno seeds if you like it hot

  • Garnish with any of the following toppings: edamame, pickled ginger, salsa, spicy mayo

  • Optional: use low sodium soy sauce, gluten free soy sauce, or coconut aminos in place of soy sauce
