Baked Brie
 
 

Makes 1 serving

 
 
 

To Get:

  • 1 Pillsbury Crescent Dough-original

  • 1 small round Brie cheese

  • 1 tbsp softened butter

  • 1 egg yolk beaten with 1 tbsp water

  • 1/2 jar apricot preserves

  • 1 tbsp brown sugar

  • Sprinkle of cinnamon

To Do: 

  1. Role out dough on floured surface.

  2. Spread the softened butter on both sides of the brie.

  3. Mix 1/2 jar apricot preserves with cinnamon, brown sugar, and spread on buttered brie.

  4. Place the brie on top of the dough.

  5. Cover the brie on top of the dough.

  6. Make sure there are no holes at all or the melted brie will come through.

  7. If your feelin’ fancy, take extra dough and make leaves or other shapes on top of the brie to decorate.

  8. Take pastry brush and spread egg yolk mixture on top and sides to ensure a shiny, golden crust.

  9. Bake at 400 degrees F for around 20-30 minutes until golden brown.
